We should have gone the 'udder'way.
the herd said:

that stupid cow on the tannoy said the lane was clear ......
.

are we too late for the early milk train ?
If this train doesn't arrive soon were going to miss the kick off at Cowdenbeath.
hey look - there is a cowslip on the line !
we are gonna blamed for all the cow crap on the platform
and I can tell you now - its bullshot !
Many years ago I lived in a cottage on the canal. Looking out of the window I saw a herd of cows coming down the towpath. I saw a woman open my gate toe the towpath and shoo them into my garden. Most of them went out of the front gate, one didn't! I went down stairs to be met with a cow in the lounge. I had been playing records and there were a few on the floor, clever cow had stepped over them without breaking any.
I panicked and telephoned then husband in work to be told he was in a board meeting. I insisted on speaking to him. He said what do you expect me to do 30 miles away. Shoo it out. I was petrified but had to deal with it.
I eventually managed it with a bit of difficulty. It took a long time to live that phone call down.
I thought having Ducks and Geese in the lounge watching TV was bad enough - but a cow! Wow.

Then there was the Squirrel incident, boy they are fast.
Had an herd of donkeys in our garden many years ago !.
Then there was the Squirrel incident, boy they are fast.

They sure are, Mamya.

When My two eldest kids were small I bought them a chipmunk each with a large cage. My son aged about eight at the time thought it would be a good idea to let them out 'for some exercise' it took me and Mrs av around three hours to recapture them.
I can imagine, this squirrel simply barged in through the open balcony door and did five laps of the room, lunged for the lightshade then eventually fled out.

I once lost a hamster for three weeks, we had a wake and everything, there were tears - then I went under the sink for bleach and he was sat looking at me.
LOL, the resurrected hamster.
Gawd, their proper little Houdini's aren't they.
Sure are.
Mamya, I'd have loved to have seen your face while the squirrel was tearing around the living room.
I bet it was a picture Tony lol.
