What do you need and how does one go about recording oneself talking/singing into an MP3 format and be then able to e-mail that recording please...

Got a smartphone? Use it's voice recorder app.

You can buy a very inexpensive voice recorder that has a USB connection built in.

You can then save your file on your PC as an MP3 and mail it as an attachment.

i have a samsung smartphone - can't see an obvious app, svoice seems to be just voice commands?
So if i can find that I can then e-mail it from my phone?
