Without a Certificate of Authority the value is reduced. Could you give us some details as to what happened when you tried to load it.

put the disc in the laptop
nothing happened
So this was trying to boot off of it ?
Check the BIOS settings for your PC, make sure it's looking at the drive with your disk in for it's boot instructions.
Does the disk appear in your windows explorer - if so you can fire it off from there. Maybe autoplay isnt turned on.

crapa
returned disc
now he says the coa is missing
no refund
Hi henry.
Is there anyone who can help you try to load the disc?
Have you tried opening the drive that the disk is in (maybe D or E) and seeing whether there is a reference to the disk that you can click on
We knew it was missing. If you had it and lost it then that's one thing but if you are sure you never received it then that's another. In which case I'd have thought you could take it to the claims court.

Meanwhile why can't they replace it with a working disc without the cao ? Mind you without one it'd be difficult to use it to install and register. But if all you are doing is repair you might be able to get the existing registration number from your PC once it boots up again.

Another thought. Can you not borrow a working disk from someone ?
