Have connected new router and now my wireless HP printer won't connect to my computer Please can you help

Because you have replaced your router you need to reinstall your HP wireless printer.

Your computer prints VIA your router so the printer needs to connect to the router. so you probably need to put in the new wi fi userid and password.
With some printer/router combinations you need to go through a procedure to enter the router's password into the printer. With others you simply need to pair the two devices by pressing the wifi button on one of them and then on the other.

I have tried to connect them up using wps even updating the IP address and still no joy I see no option in the printers menu to input new routers user ID and password !? It's a HP deskjet 3050 appropriate any help j

Thank you all for your help My grandson asked for te help. He spent a couple of hours trying to link the printer without success Bless him. He had tried all of your suggestions - he is good with technical stuff but couldn't help his old nan on this occasion. I will have to get someone in

Still having problems despite doing everything suggested and as asked by the computer still cannot connect the computer to the printer
