Ipad Contract

is it true that iPad contracts are never longer than 2 years, or do any of you have longer iPad contracts?

I bought mine outright. But would imagine that 24 months would be the norm as the product would be superseded on a regular basis and anything longer than 24 months would be obsolete. Also if you buy your product outright from Apple you get a year warranty/guarantee not sure which and then before the year is up you can purchase the apple care insurance should anything go wrong. So that effectively gives you two years trouble free.
