The answer is simple deva.....just go to a big branch of Tesco, and buy a Hudl ! They are now £129 and well thought of by all and sundry. Why get a Tablet on line when you can just pop into Tesco and try one for yourself.

Tesco points as well....simples !
I have just seen an advert in todays Daily Mal for the UKTabletOnline tablet.

It is TERRIBLE. DONT buy it.

It is cheap because it is so bad. I wont bore you with the details but the technical specs are just awful.

Note that while this tablet is only £49 you would almost certainly have to buy the 32GB storage card to make it usable, and this is another £35, so you are already up to £84.

It is cheap because it is a VERY BAD tablet.

Generally like with most things, you get what you pay for. The better tablets are the most expensive.

However I agree with Mikey, the HUDL is a good tablet and I think Tesco has kept the price low to encourage people to buy it.

The tablets Which magazine suggest are usually the Apple or Samsung devices which are between £300 and £400, that sort of price range.
Nearly three years ago, I bought a Samsung Galaxy TAB 2, and I am very happy with it. But if were buying today, it would be a hudl, without any shadow of a doubt.

Unless you have money to burn, don't even consider a Ipad ! Far too expensive, like all Apple computers.
You can get a 32 gb card for around a tenner now, VHG. ( I still wouldn't buy the cheap UKTabletOnline though)

Thanks to you all - your thoughts were very enlightening. It seems that the old adage still stands-If it seems to be too good to be true-it is
Deva...as long as you don't drop this Tablet, you are likely to have it for many years to come. So £129 spread out over 5-6 years really isn't very much.
