Hi all,

I purchased a Voiceworks V1 hands-free kit and I can't for the life of me get any of my phones (Alcatel Onetouch, Motorola XT1032 and a HTC Wildfire S A510e) to connect to it via Bluetooth. I've read the pairing instructions and I've even emailed Voicework support (no reply as yet).

I cant find a compatibility guide (list of phones) however it does specify that it must be either an iPhone, Windows OS or Android OS (above a specific version, which they all are).

Does anyone own one of these?

Any advice will be appreciated.

Regards,
Dizmo.

First things first, Dizmo. Are both devices in pairing mode?

Retrosun: That is irrelevant.

Douglas: The phones are, I've just got to take the hands-free annoying "Searching for devices" voice every time I turn it on, as an indication that it is also in pairing mode.

I wasn't suggesting that I was trying to connect them all at once. I've tried from each phone separately :)

The reason for testing with 3 phones (not simultaneously) was just in case one, or more of them is non compatible with the device.
It sounds as if your hand is better?

I think Ann was talking to me? Were you Ann?

No it's fine. You're new to the site though so I didn't think Ann could possibly know about your hand unless you know her away from AB.

Ann: Not really. I'm using a voice to text program - I'm cheating :D

Accepting I know nothing about this technically so just a suggestion? Do you physically sit in the car with all 3 phones while you pair them up? Only because this is what happens in my case. Firstly my Parrot will only pair with one phone. About a year ago my OH tried to pair with his phone in my car and it not only wouldn't work but neither would my phone either. Even though he has told his phone to forget my device every time we both travel in my car now the Parrot is constantly 'searching' and neither of our phones work with it. In very simple terms have you tried with one phone only with the other phones out of range (and this all assumes your voicework can pair with more than one phone at once)
why do we require more than one mobile telephone at a time. ?
I don't anne but some people do - 1 for work contacts, 1 for personal and maybe 1 for your secret lovers for example :-))
mmmmm. ok one for work one for own use. the secret lover could phone the ' works' phone............ simple. :)
