Satnav Choice

I'm looking for a good satnav to replace the cheap satnav I've got.

There are two features I'm looking for:

1) When I put in a destination, I want it to show me two or three route options for me to choose from (like Google Maps does), rather than it going straight into its preferred route and me hoping it's going to go my preferred route.

2) I'd like an easily accessible mute button, so that on easy or familiar parts of the route I can turn off the voice, with one button.
