Around lunch time on a Friday I drive into town to attend to my duties at an older peoples club, I can normally park close to the venue either in a car park or street parking ( a bit dearer). Today all the bays were full and the high street was heaving, now the question is ,where did all these people come from, mothers with kids that should have been in school, so many adults, they cannot all have been unemployed. I had to park half a mile away and walk, might just as well caught the bus with the great unwashed.
Gripe over.
According to adverts on our local buses , one in ten teenagers have a nasty naughty health problem, as I have no wish to catch anything I travel by car.
