As so many Policemen have already been found guilty in this affair, I am not really sure what Rowland is trying to achieve here. When you are in a hole, its normally best to stop digging I would have thought.

The feds are being 'maintained' ( = fees paid ) by the police fed ( does that mean we pay in the end ?) and I wonder who is bankrolling Andrew Mitchell.
