Youv'e lost me bro .

Are you saying that there are web browsers which the general populus aren't allowed to know about ?

Noodlearms, are you saying you know of and have access to a browser that is safer to use than any version of Chrome, Firefox, IE, Safari or Opera, but you're not going to tell us what this browser is because that would somehow compromise your or its security?
Noodle - I do find you comical.

///Fyi my security systems are unique to me ie. Built according to my spec by a friend of a friend.///

Yeah, yeah, yeah
So for the purposes of clarification , is it your advices that you use browsers recomended by your friend in the security services , which the rest of us dont know about ?

Old_Geezer , has it right , hasn't he ?

Can I be 'Miss Moneypenny'??
May I suggest (as I also have links to a place where IT security is critical) that it is not the specific browser used that's different but all the firewall/protection installed, not usually available to the general Tom Dick.
Unless you prefer the cloak and dagger version?
More like Miss Funnypinny...

Sorry, but I can't stop laughing at some of this thread & apologise to toalisi for going off-topic :-)
Noodlearms - I have been using internet for over 10 years. First as dial up and now as 100mb broadband. My various systems have never been infiltrated with 'nasties' to the extent of making them unusable. Methinks you go to a great deal of unnecessary trouble to allegedly protect yourself and then come on here expounding the virtues of your colleague and his secret formulae.

I definitely find your comments comical but will now refrain from following them further as they have become boring.

Well, I never new that!

Mind you, so far in 14years of dabbling in pc's I've never been invaded, so my security measures must be up to scratch ☺☺☺
new = knew

Duh!
> Yes Ellipsis that's exactly what i am saying

Why do you bother saying it? Is it just to gloat about your superior capabilities and defences? Or do you think you're somehow being helpful?

If helpfulness is your aim then you need to change your approach, because you're coming across as a troll ...
Copied and pasted word for word from here
