So annoying, I type something on a blog and ipad changes word to what it thinks it should be. How can I stop this ?

Go into settings, general, keyboard and turn off auto correction.

Hopefully that will do it.

What is actually recording your programmes (Sky, Tivo ???)

If you keep an eye on what you are typing, the IPad's version should come up within x beside it. Tap the word with the x and your word should stay as you wrote it.
