Changing Account Name And Password On Xbox 360

My son has an xbox 360 and when it was set up 2 yrs ago it was done using my name and email. He has just got a new phone (nokia 510) which requires xbox sign in to play, this means he has access to my email account which I don't want him to have. He tried to change account on xbox but it said he couldn't do it, any help gratefully received to stop a stroppy 13 yr old!!

I'm not sure why he couldn't do it. We changed my son's account details for the same reason. We might have added a new account with the new details, i can't remember now. Have you tried that?
