Shift Key Not Shifting

My Laptop is throwing a wobbly and won't let me put a question mark or anything else using the shift key. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Turn the laptop upside down and give it a shake. Some crumbs might fall out.

erm crumbs in the keyboard lol...

Go into the Control Panel and open ACCESSIBILITY OPTIONS. Just uncheck the STICKY KEYS option....

Gently invert and shake (the laptop not yourself).

Use the softest brush on your vacuum cleaner to suck the crap (technical term) out of the keyboard.

Many thanks all for the suggestions. After calling the help line HP are sending me a new keyboard free, extended warrantee, for me to fit. On line instructions.
