I make no apologies for sending out begging messages again. At the weekend I did a 13 mile hike through dungeon fire and sword AND heavy rain and strong winds, to raise money for a local charity. It's The Martlets Hospice,(fundraising dept) Waylands Ave, Hove, BN3 7LW East Sussex. If anyone would like to send them a cheque(no matter how small) I would be soooo pleased. My entrant number was 2012. Thank you to Boaty and Minty who have sent cheques and thanks also to Boxtops for her good wishes and kind things she said about the Martlets. Thanks again Abers xx

Morning Minty Dimmock nice drop of rain here for the garden....... again.
Still waiting to hear the results of tests to see just how this last stroke has affected him but a complication with his heart isn't helping matters. I haven't seen him, as yet, but one of the others has said that he seems very agitated and confused still - not a good sign, I don't think. I'll text Fingers later to see if she has heard any more from her sister (she gets so upset to see her dad in this state that she wouldn't go over the weekend)
