(or in other words, vent our anger here!!!)

I'll start the list off with

i use the telephone preference service and so don't get any unsolicitored calls, it does work, though aviva were a pain in the neck when i took out a policy with them via sanander, they kept ringing to check i was going ahead, wasn't automated though and so i couldn;t hang up on them.
I average about 6 a day, it's not a problem as I can see who's calling...........

The My Shopping Corner lot are a pain - they phone with automated message and then send junk mail!!

TPS doesn't work!
The TPS works if
(a) the calls are coming from the UK ; and
(b) people actually report offenders to the TPS.

The TPS has no powers to stop calls from overseas. More importantly though, it can't do its job of dealing with UK firms who break the rules unless people tell them about those callers. The complaint form is here:

Excuse me please Tuvok....Chris, do you have a throwaway email address please?
[email protected] should work, Mrs C.
Thanks Chris.
I'm registered with the TPS; I also have Caller Number Display. If the number is withheld, or if I don't recognise the number, I don't answer.
frugalfred. How will you know if you have won $9,000,000 in the Nigerian lottery?
GW - as an employee of the Nigerian Lottery Inc., I'm not permitted to play under the conditions of my employment!
