My computer is running low on memory. How would I go about either purchasing more memory or purging my computer of unnecessary files (I believe I have a bug/virus which prevents the computer automatically deleting temporary internet files when I shut down.)?

low memory or low on hard disk space ?

google for 'crucial memory' from their webbie you can enter in the details of your motherboard and it will tell you what memory you can use if you are unsure.

if your hdd is full, remove some non-essential stuff like games and then de-frag your machine.this could create space and make your machine run smoother.if you believe you have a virus.dl free anti-virus from grisoft(again use google) then install and run to check for virus's ASAP
