I want to add text to photos, and be able to change the warp, perspective and rotate etc. I use Picasa but it doesn't do those things. I have photoshop but it's just too complicated for me! I believe GIMP does these things- is it any good? And if so where's the download, I couldn't find the reliable one!x

I have Windows XP
GIMP is available here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gimp-win/files/GIMP%20Help%202/GIMP%20Help%202.8.0/gimp-help-2-2.8.0-en_GB-setup.exe/download?accel_key=71%3A1361187466%3Ahttp%253A//www.gimp.org/downloads/%3Aa5302ad2%24d7d90bf56ff0a1ed65dcfaeb75336b1e0250c01c&click_id=9d635802-79bf-11e2-97f5-0200ac1d1d91-7&source=accel

It has very good features but like most other systems it will be a steep learning curve to master all its features. But if you are just looking at add text an warp pictures etc. you will probably pick that up fairly quickly. Suggest you do a google seach for 'how to use gimp'

Thanks! Do you know if there is any other free software that would let me add text to photos in this way?
For really, really simple editing, try Paint.net - it's good for very quick stuff, but it isn't clever in the slightest.
