I have, and I suspect that this site is your problem. There's one hell of a lot going on on here, especially with all the adverts round the side. Sometimes i find that over 50% of my CPU is being utilised - close AB and back to normal. You should still be able to get online, though. I once used my monthly allowance up within 3 days by downloading the Olympics opening ceremony while in hospital, but I was still able to get online for the rest of the month.

Cheers

Thanks I see now what you mean all the adverts.
everytime you open an internet page it is "downloaded" to your computer
I just bought a T-mobile dongle on PAYG (because my birds ate my BT phone line) I paid £30 which is supposedly for 3 months UNLIMITED internet access. . . ?

DebsyDoo, I fell for that one. It's 'unlimited access' subject to their 'fair usage policy'. That's one Gb a month. Once you've exceeded that and, as I say, I managed to with the 2012 opening ceremony, you get just the basic access. You can get online, see pages, deal with email etc, but buying anything from Itunes for example is put of the question.
