Connecting Laptop To New Tv

Does anyone know the best way and what I need to connect a new LG tv to my laptop?

depends what connections are available. On a new TV its usually via an HDMI cable.

HDMI has been on high end laptops for about 3-4 year's and still isn't on low end laptops.

So as rojash said... unless you expect us to be psychic the question is pretty much asking "how do I connect one thing to another thing..

Giving a few details of the "things" might help here.

Ok, sorry for the vague question to start with but I didn't have the laptop or tv in front of me at the time. I have hdmi connections on the tv but not on my laptop, which is old and has only a serial port, a few usb ports and an isdn/ethernet port. If I had an hdmi port I would know what to do! Thanks in advance.
