Hi, I am looking for some advice for connecting my new TV to my Soundbar speaker. For years the connection I have used was from my SKY+ Box directly to the Red/White connections on my soundbar and I have used a combination of the soundbar and TV Volumes to get the sound I want. I now have a new TV and when I use the same connection there is a millisecond of difference between the TV sound and the soundbar, resulting in what I can only describe as an echo. I was thinking it might be better to bypass the Sky box and connect the TV direct to the soundbar, but I am not sure how to do this. The red/White coneectors on the tv are already in use for the WII Console. My new TV has a connector called SPDIF, and another connector called Subwoofer. My soundbar only has 3 sets of the Red/White connections, so I don't know if a connection is possible,or if it is, what cables I might require.Any advise would be most appreciated.
