Message on my Computer Screen.

How do I stop a message 'A website wants to open web content using this program (Adobe Flash Player) on my computer'. It says it is outside a protected mode, but do not know how to go about stopping this annoying message, I keep clicking the 'dont allow' button, but it still appears. I am not very good with computers so if somebody to explain in simple terms I would be very grateful.
