I've been transferring loads of old vinyl and cassette albums onto my PC and into iTunes. When I go to 'get artwork' I still have ca. 50% of the albums without a pic.

Is it possible to load your own pics into your iTunes library to round things off? If so, How?

Many thanks for any advice.
Regards,
Charlie

Just get the pictures onto your computer and then select the album in iTunes and then paste the picture and it should apply itself
Actually you don't even have to do that, just Google the album and copy the image with a right click and then paste as before.
I usually go to Amazon and find the album. Then look at a large view of the cover. You can then copy it.

In iTunes, highlight the track (or tracks) to which you want to apply the artwork. Go to file and the Get Info and then artwork. There is a box into which you can padte the artwork.
I also Google the missing album art, save a decent quality version to my desktop then paste it in to iTunes.

Hi again!

Supplementary question:

I've been finding the images that I need and pasting them in the 'Get Info' box but quite a few won't stick, so to say. Does the .jpg image size matter?

All the best,
Charlie
size of jpg doesn't normally matter but they do have to be jpg, sure you're not getting .bmp or .gif in these instances?
