The ipad 2 wont connect to internet .the laptop is working so the hub must be working any ideas

Have you told the iPad what network to join? (under setting).

Is it connecting to the correct wifi. Are you seeing the bars at the top of the screen? Sometimes a stronger signal nearby can confuse it. Go into settings and then network.

No not really.

Touch on the 'Settings' icon.
Touch on 'General'.
Touch on 'Network'.
Touch on 'Wifi'

Your wifi connection (and any others locally) show up in the 'Choose a Network' Pane.

Touch your Network to connect to wifi.
