Blackberry 9900 Bold......

Just moved over to this because of work, not my choice. I have set up different ring tones for different people and groups of people, all well and good but when the phone is locked that all goes out of the window and I get my default ring tone. I've Googled to death but no one seems to have the answer. The odd thing is that a collegue has the same phone etc and has no such problems, we have spent ages going through all the settings and got nowhere, anyone one out there cracked this issue? thanks
