Three cheers for the Ed.  It will solve a lot of problems and keep us all happy, especially the Ed.  However, we will have to use the new category with respect and make sure we all behave ourselves.  Thanks for pointing it out Netty x

I am 60, my coffee mornings aren't the type you seem to think MargeB - we are not little old ladies in felt hats - we range from 23 - 61, but get on because we all live  different lives and we are open-minded. It is also like the AB we share our knowledge and help others over here, as it's very different from England.

i love coffee! the first thing i do when i get up is make my coffee. one sugar with a lil hazzelnut creamer!  and the best time for me to get on the ab is the morning. although to you all i beleive i'm 5 hours behind!

Ooops folks, my not speaking English much is coming through more + more - when I read your post MargeB, I didn't read your "60 something coffee morning women" as being 60 year old ladies - I thought you had made a rough estimate and worked out there could be a possible total of 60 women in all participating in the new section. Hence my ? would we have to sign in first as numbers were limited - sorry.

Talk about feeling dumb - I still haven't recovered from hospital obviously!

Although seeing as I've e-mailed the AB Ed asking if he/she would prefer it if I left this site altogether, I may not get to use the new 'chatty' facility anyway.

Hurrah for the Ed!  At last the pop up in my favourites will be true!  IT describes the AB (this is automated and what the AB makes it say) as "post questions and answers and discuss topics of interest".  At last we shall be allowed to discuss topics of interest.  HURRAH!!!! :-)

Most of Smudge's postings from today have now vanished.  I can only assume someone has been playing with the report button again and has intentionally temporarily suspended her.  I hope I am wrong, because AB Ed might not be back until Tuesday to sort things out.

It's just so nasty and childish - whoever is doing this always picks the weekend and always picks popular people.  It has happened to her posts all over the site. Wouldn't even have considered that you would have done it jno.  Real shame for Smudge.

I was afraid I'd accidentally upset smudge and she might think I was trying to ban her. I'm not, I just have the occasional polite disagreement with her, nothing more, and I hope she's back soon. It does always happen over weekends - and this a long weekend too. Rats.
