I have bought a new laptop and wireless router and networked them with my pc, but when I use the internet wirelessly on the laptop, I constantly lose the connection and have to keep reconnecting. Any ideas as to why this keeps happening when I am less that 10 meters away from the router/modem etc?

I had this same problem, it turned out to be electrical interference from our telly, and a slighty dodgy low energy light bulb, with both switched off, connection was solid, I have since hard wired my laptop to the router, a LOT cheaper than replacing my beloved wide screen telly!
you could also check magnetic fields and the range of your router is it 3g , 2g or 4g have you checked
oh by the way "hard wiring" a PC kinda defeats the object of "wireless comunication" dosen't it? and as for the low energy light bulb???? are you for real!!!c'mon get with it!!
