Can you download Powerpoint for free anywhere ??

My son's teacher told him you can download powerpoint free .... apparently , a quick search and attempted download of what looked like a free download took me through various crap ... i aborted suspiciously !!

you can download open office for free which will give you a completely compatable powerpoint type programme, together with compatable word/spreadsheet etc. It's by sun microsystems I think - not dodgy at all.

I'd go for Open Office, free - no limits, as many PC's as you wish, no cost on upgrade, converts seemlessly. http://www.openoffice.org/
