I'm creating a time sheet for someone and have colums of time on site and time off site. I've tried to format the colums so that if he types 9 then it formats it to a time.

I highlighted the cells and seletect the 'time' format but every time I enter a number it just comes up as 00.00.00

When I remove the format the number I typed in appears.

I can't work out what I'm doing wrong?

Hurrahhhh!!!!!

It wouldn't let me select anything from another sheet but moved times to sheet1 and it's worked. Bloomin marvelous!

Well, my bosses will think I'm a clever girl won't they. :)

Thank you!

And I made the font of the list of times white so he thinks it's real magic! lol
It could done done using a VBA macro.
You might want to either protect the cells the list is in, or make sure it's way way off screen somewhere and set the print area to just the area you do want printed.

Yeah, good point. I'll put a lock on those cells so he can't accidently change them.
