Transferring purchases from iphone to itunes

I have searched through the internet looking for an answer and none of them seem to help!
Basically each time I try to transfer my purchases from my Iphone to Itunes it sticks at 'Waiting for changes to be applied' this is the same when I try to sync it. I don't actually have any music on my Iphone I just want to transfer my apps onto Itunes as I have paid for alot of them.
The problem has only came about since I got a new computer and tried to transfer my purchases to it, I have authorised the new one to my Itunes account and deauthorised my old one.
