Mozilla Thunderbird systme icon tray (Windows 7)

The icon use to appear in the system tray but has disappeared. I've clicked on 'Customize' in the system tray and selected 'Show icons and notifications' but still nothing appears.

Anyone know how to activate notifications?

Thunderbird doesn't have an option to minimize to the tray. I'm guessing that you were using the MinimizeToTray extension which is no longer supported.
