I've just changed the batteries in my SKY remote and for some unknown reason the mute button doesn't work. Any ideas as to why?

Are you actually viewing tv through sky box and not built in freeview?

Has it maybe reset the remote? I know with the Virgin remotes you have to sync it to the tv when you get it.

Hi erin-x, I can only assume it's reset itself when I replaced the batteries. (?) Now, how do I reset it?! HELP!

go to interactive on your remote then --sky customer service--- then program your remote 5th one down----- you get all codes there.tells you how to set it up step by step.

futritcat is spot on, i has this prob' last month fixed it by going through interactive process.
