The question is ... who is having the most fun - or perhaps better to say "getting the most out of CB".

... is it me and the other 'real people' who are, by and large, playing it straight - single user name, appropriate anonymity, but otherwise basically truthful

... or is it the fantasist brigade - with their multiple usernames/personalities, who are spinning yarns (or worse) and then laughing up their sleeves when people fall for their game playing ?

I think/hope the first category is in a significant majority ... but sometimes a niggling little voice says 'ahah' ...

Personally I don't care one way or another.

As long as they're not abusive, they can be as entertaining or thought provoking as a 'kosher' post.

The choice is there whether to reply to what they believe is an obvious troll or not.

.whos been up to what this time? you must admit you can have a right laugh at the things some people get up to. the threads are all so diverse i spend hours reading them i got caught by one about paint recently till i twigged

Some are entertaining and so bizarre you can spot it straight away - like mr marufoo and his 500 rich Arabs who wanted to hire a jubilee line train for a party. Quickly descended into ridicule but he enjoyed the story as much as we did and no harm done. There have been the other type where they are looking for sympathy for what is a made up story and these people are seriously sick.
