Hi all - I have all my music organsised nicely in winamp 5 - Sorted into albums, track numbers, artist the lot. The problem is is that windows media player 10 reads the tags totally wrong and its all messed up! ID3v2 is copied to ID3v1 in my files. Can any gurus out there help...?

well my first question would be you use winamp, so why care about media player, imo it's a piece of MS crap that doesn't even support alot of the common formats out the (bite me microsoft lol just kidding) and winamp is much better, sound quality and everything, i know in winamp you have the option to change both v1 and v2 tags, personally i am using v2 only (why have 2 after all) which worked fine on 9, i have just upgraded to 10 to try it out and it pulled out all the tags fine, have u tried just using v1, or just using v2?
