just taken delivery of a new fridge
and noticed the rear grill that cools the gas is completely enclosed in the body of the fridge and now its running the sides of the fridge (outside) are getting warm,is this a new type of unit, all the other fridges iv'e seen have exposed grills

I recently bought a new fridge with exposed rear cooling-grill but my father has a new fridge (different make) with them enclosed. Different makers perhaps favour different constructions and, maybe they are designed for different situations. Just make sure you leave the required space around the sides- should say something in the instructions.

I worry about my new fridge as it is too snug a fit really............if mine explodes there'll be siemen all over the kitchen :-)
