My Norton Internest security is due to run out in 30 days. I have researched other systems and have a short list of:

AVG
Avast
Avira
Bullgard

(I also have McAfree which comes free with my BT package)

Which should I go with. Cost is not an issue but I need a 3 user licence. I just want the most secure system available.

I would go with the free McAfee from BT, if not the Microsoft security Essentials is very good (and free)
Agree with daffy, stick with the McAfee from BT.

More than one security system may cause errors/conflicts.
Personally I find McAfee a bit slow, I would go for ESET smart security or Kasperksy (which you can get free if you know anyone who uses internet banking with Barclays).
The latest Which magazine reviewed loads of security software and top was Bullguard.

Microsoft security essentials came second (even though it is free).

McAfee and Kaspersky came about half way down the list.
Stay with Norton, we're very happy with it.
MSE it is free and does everything Norton does and as Which says it is second only to Bullguard and way above McAfee and Kaperski.
Just be sure you have fully removed and disinstalled Norton before you install MSE or the 2 will 'fight' each other. Why pay for what you can get free ?
In addition get a good firewall and malwarebytes. Also create a limited account and surf with that.

Thanks all.
TTG how do I do the limited account thing?
Don't pay, they only difference is support which for a home user isn't really required. You also need to use 2 separate programs to ensure all bases are covered. I used AVG and Sophos...both free.
