1. The Leaf Blower. It blows leaves. From one place to another.

2. The kindle. Its a book that needs batteries; 'but it can store 30,000 books!' I hear you cry. So does the library, who's going to read that many in a lifetime? Thats 1 day for over 82 years.

A kindle aint pointless!

Where else can you buy and read in a matter of seconds a book you've taken a fancy to at midnight in your PJ's?

So you would be happy with a wooden wheel on your car? You aren't happier that the wheel continually evolved into the rubber contraptions your motor currently has?

and also a bit souless. The best way I can describe it is like owning the CD over downloading an album on MP3. The subject matter is the same but its nice to have the proper CD with all the artwork, inlay blurb etc.

I am housebound so am unable to access the library so bought myself a kindle. That makes it far from a pointless invention in my mind.
