Who has the best, most realistic graphics, Garmin Or TomTom? I just asked the lad at Currys but he didn`t have a clue so I don`t know why he said "Can I help you"? when the answer was clearly "No, you obviously can`t". Any opinions from Garmin/TomTom users?

Well....I'm no more use that boy in Currys as I can't give you a comparison...I do have a Garmin Nuvi 1310T which I love to use whenever I drive...even when I know the route....very addictive.....

I really don't need fancy graphics..just a clear indication of the route that I can see with just a quick glance...on leaving motorways the virtual photo of the turn off kicks in for a few seconds which is handy at times.

On the screen in this model is a speed limit indicator and a present speedo which is more accurate than the incar one which warns if you go over the limit....also camera warnings ....the ETA .It has a Traffic recever built into the car charging lead which really works...the indicated route turns bright red if there is a problem and Emily ;-)...will reroute you if you want.....

Go off route intentionally or otherwise and you get an immediate re.calculation.

The main instructors like Emily speak the street names which is another plus ..and there is a huge selection of languages and voices..........

Plenty of vehicles to choose from and third party ones online..I found my particular Grande Punto in grey so I feel really at home in there

It seems to have a limitless number of POIs of all sorts..fish and chip shops is my fav..:-)

Probably forgotten or not yet found lots more features.....

IMHO.....it's BIG value for the money.

Hope this helps some...

commoner - thanks for taking the time to give your opinion. It`s definitely going to be between TomTom and Garmin Nuvi. I`ve got some researching on Reevoo to do!
