i have Windows 7 and Bt Internet. I use Mozilla Firefox. I get into Mozilla OK and when I try to find something, say ebay, it takes ages to connect. Why is this ? The internet access on my Home Hub only goes up to level two, when I rang them they put it up to the topnotch so I think it may be my network ? Not technie so easy answers please. If I uninstall and install Mozilla will I lose all my bookmarks ?

By the way I got into AB immediately, but couldn't get into ebay, very slow connecting.
you can save your bookmarks, go to Bookmarks> Show all Boomkmarks> Import & Backup> then either Backup or Export as HTML
Have you checked your actual download speed using a site such as this?:

If my download speed is low what can I do ?
Do as daffy has suggested and if your download speed is low I suggest you contact BT. A few months ago mine dropped to below 1.0 Without any charge they sent a chap along to check the lines from my computer and established that over 7.0 could be supported. He then arranged for matters to be put right in the local Telephone Exchange and since then I have not tracked less than 6.0. Top speed has been 7.1. at present 6.9.
