I have accidently put a picture as back ground on desk top of my computer...does anyone know how I get rid off it please.

The exact route varies with different versions of Windows but this works for XP (and is worth a try with other versions):
Right-click on your desktop. Select Properties and then the Desktop tab. Set the background to 'None. Click 'Apply'. Click 'OK'.

On Windows 7 it's right click desktop and choose 'personalize'
