The video card in my computer has provision for two monitors to be connected. If i add another monitor am I able to configure them to act as one big screen when I play my flightsim.

Although you will effectively be doubling the screen resolution you'd be playing at, so it'll need to be a fairly meaty system to get decent frame rates at a decent quality.
