Just got new computer.Do I have to uninstall my broadband and security on this one before I set it up then reinstall the disks on the new one .Thanks.

Generally speaking, whatever you did to your old one will need to be done to your new one...

yes but do I uninstall the security and broadband from this one as it wont be in use.

My internet is only for 1 pc
If you are not keeping the PC you may want to consider wiping the disks. But why would you specifically need to uninstall software ? Just concentrate on installing it on the new one.
"Old" PC obviously.

I should have said my internet security disc says on it for one computer only
I think you'll need to buy new security as you have already installed it on one computer, I could be wrong though.
or get free. Even if you buy online, some are quite cheap

Sorry to be a pain and thick but I pay for my security along with my monthy subscription of broadband. Been like this for nearly 5 years. Now I will be only using 1 computer so this is why I want to know if I have to uninstall it from this pc as I have the disc then reinstall it on the new one. Hope I have simplflyed it .
No, Wendilla, just disconnect your old pc and get the new one up and running.

Markrae I am not technical minded but I have never had any problems with it regarding virus ect.Updates regular ect
No doubt, but no-one needs to pay for such protection...

Yes that is right but with having tesco broadband I am only charged an extra 50p per month
