What is a kettle lead for an apple imac and where can I purchase one?

Probably the power cable. Is yours missing or have you damaged it? Getting a replacement depends on what model iMac you have

Though as they said "kettle lead" it's probably a standard IEC lead.

No Chuck, they wouldn't fit. If the iMac has an internal power supply then the lead end isn't the squashed triangle of an IEC lead, it's more like a clover leaf (3 joined circles) Maplin does them, I believe
