ok so in the old days u used Ni-Cd baterries and just pushed the correct amount of amps (mA) into them for the right amount of time but now with Ni-MH batteries the chargers r much more complicated and i've been told that they r more delicate to charge than the old ni-Cd batterries. does anybody know how they get charged i mean my charger charges 1 amp and auto switchs off but is that 1 amp continuos or is it in pulses or what ? i would like to charge some Ni-MH batts with solar pannels but don't want to ruin them either as they r not really cheap
