Hi

How can you reduce a picture that is to be sent via an attachment? The picture has a high file size and therefore takes ages to download. How can this file size be reduced? Its just been transfered from a sony camera on to the computer.

Any help would be great.

in my case, if I have the photo in My Documents somewhere, I click on 'email this file' and a prompt comes up asking me if I'd like it made smaller.
Right click on the file, then select Send To then Mail Recipient.

You then get a chance to reduce the size of the file.
I usually put photo files for emailing through the 'paint' programme (usually found on most computers) This means the image can be downsized to say, 20% which I find is good for email.
