Is it possible to use Google purely for the UK ? If I try google.co.uk I still get American websites. They used to have a UK box you could tick but I can't find it now ...

On the left hand side of the search results list is a link to select "Pages from the UK"

I have found this "pages from th UK" does not always work and often gives foreign (mainly US) sites

My search engine is google uk and it works.
There is a clicky link on the left of my page to search 'the web' if google uk doesn't come up with the goods.

If I want a UK site I generally add UK in the actual search
