Trojan

Hi

My work have introduced new security measures that encrypt memory sticks laptops etc that are used on their pcs. My memory stick has been detected to have a backdoor trojan on it, any idea how i can get rid of it from my pen? and, it will probs be on my laptop at home and my external hard drive.

I think it's best to format the memory stick to remove any malicious infections. Bear in mind though that you'll lose all the information on the memory stick.

Hi society when i got home i scanned my pen with avg and it detected the trojan and quarantined it. Scanned the device again...no infections found this time...have i got lucky? I also scanned my laptop (full scan) no threats detected...too good to be true?
