Lost Email conection on my Ipod Touch.

Some how I lost the connection on my Ipod Touch. I use Netgear & have OS W7 Netgear asks for password and I thought thar was "PASSWORD" but it does not work. It was very handy to check my Emails without going on my computer. Anyone any ideas please ?

What are you trying to do when it asks for the password? connect the the network in the iTouch, or log into the admin pages for your router on your computer?

Connect the network in the iTouch.

wrong password then.

that is the password for logging into the routers admin page, which is what you now need to do.

enter the username admin and password of password, look in the wireless settings in the left hand pane, and then security.

on that page there will be your wireless network key, that's what you need to enter on your Ipod touch when connecting to the network.

Aren't Netgear routers set to:

http://192.168.1.1

I know mine is. Nothing happens with .0.1
