I apologise if I've misunderstood your question, but you can send photos as attachment to yahoo mail. Just open a new e-mail message and click on the paper-clip symbol on the header bar to attach one or more photo files.
Beware however that some mail services will not allow you to have large attachments and will stop the e-mail if too many photos are attached.
If you want to share your photos with your friends and family look at Yahoo's Flickr service. It's a very good way of sharing your photos.

open my pictures on computer >>> holding down Ctrl key click on all photos you need to send (they will be highlighted) now look down left hand side click on email these pictures and your email will come up with all photos attached ready to send.

I prefer to load my pics onto My Pics, Yahoo site and send the URLs to my 'thousands' of email friends who await with bated breath to see them?

Email is for sending text, it's not the best way to share your photos!
Do as the others above have said and upload your pictures to an on-line picture sharing service and then just send the links to people
Photobucket is pretty good for sharing photos too, but they all do pretty much the same thing.

Flickr is very good for that too.
