McAfee SiteAdvisor free edition

I have relied on this essential tool for the past couple of years. For no apparent reason it does not appear on screen pages anymore. I have tried reloading it and icon appears on my desktop . I'm not very good with computors. Could someone kindly take me through reloading, step by step. Thanks in advance
